One hour rule also for vehicles without an AutoPASS user agreement

From 01.09.23, the system with one hour rule will also include vehicles without an AutoPASS user agreement.

This will apply to the following of Ferde's toll projects:

Førdepakken, Nordhordlandspakken, Bypakke Bergen, Askøypakken, Haugalandspakkken, Bymiljøpakke Nord-Jæren, Ryfast (Hundvågtunnelen), Samferdselspakke for Kristiansand.

The requirement for an AutoPASS user agreement to obtain one hour rule is removed in accordance with the addition to the rate decision from the Norwegian Road Administration, Road Directorate dated 03 and 04/07/23

The one hour rule means that you only pay for one passage if the same vehicle passes several toll stations in the same toll project within 60 minutes. Applies to toll rings associated with cities and some road projects.

In the Kvammapakken where the hour rule is 90 minutes, there is still a requirement for a valid AutoPASS user agreement.

For other discounts and exemptions, there is still a requirement for an AutoPASS user agreement. You can find an tag issuer company to book an appointment here: https://www.autopass.no/en/user/contact-a-toll-service-provider/

The rate decision can be appealed to the Ministry of Transport within three weeks of announcement. Complaints should be sent to the Norwegian Road Administration, Road Directorate, PO Box 8142 Dep., 0033 Oslo, or firmapost@vegvesen.no
