Ryfast

Start of toll collection on 1 February 2021

February 1, 2021 the collection of tolls for Ryfast starts. There will be toll payment at the toll stations Rv. 13 Hundvåg tunnel and Rv. 13 Ryfylke tunnel in both directions.

The Ryfylke tunnel opened to traffic on 30 December 2019 and the Hundvåg tunnel opened to traffic on 22 April 2020, but without toll collection as the technical equipment had not been completed and Ferde thus could not take over the project from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

The new start date for the collection of tolls for Ryfast is set for 1 February 2021.

Passsages with AutoPASS:
Vehicles in rate group 1 with a valid agreement and a tag receive a 20% discount. Vehicles in rate group 2 receive no discount. Ryfast does not have its own agreements, and passages will be charged to the agreement you have with you tag company.

Monthly maximum rate for the Ryfylke tunnel
With a valid AutoPASS agreement and tag, you pay a maximum of 40 passages per calendar month per vehicle. The rule applies to vehicles in both rate groups.
There is no hourly rule in the Ryfylke tunnel.

Monthly maximum rate for the Hundvåg tunnel
With a valid AutoPASS agreement and a tag, you pay for a maximum of 75 passages per calendar month per vehicle, regardless of whether you pass the Hundvåg tunnel's toll stations or the toll stations in Miljøpakken (Stavanger). The scheme applies to vehicles in rate group 1.

Hourly rate for the Hundvåg tunnel
With a valid AutoPASS agreement and a tag, you only pay for one passages within an hour, regardless of whether you pass the Hundvåg tunnel's toll stations or the toll stations in Miljøpakken. It is the first registered passage that will apply, regardless of rate. This applies to vehicles in both rate groups.

Zero emission vehicles:
Zero-emission vehicles in rate group 1 with a valid agreement and a tag receive a 50% discount on the ordinary toll rate after a tag discount. And zero-emission vehicles in rate group 2 with a valid agreement and a tag receive a 100% discount from the ordinary toll rate.
This is in line with Prop. 87 S (2017-2018) and local political decisions.
