Everyone who passes in and out of Bømlo municipality must pay tolls.

Payment in both directions for passing the toll station at Spissøy.

In addition, tolls are collected on the Langevåg – Buavåg ferry connection (between Bømlo municipality and Sveio municipality).

The ferry ticket includes the ferry fare and the toll surcharge.

For the toll station at Spissøy vehicles in rate group 1 with a valid AutoPass agreement and a tag, will have a maximum limit of 30 passages in charged per calendar month and rate group 2 has a limit of 40 passages per calendar month. This applies per vehicle/tag.
There is no monthly maximum rate for passages with the ferry.

Zero-emission vehicles are defined as electric vehicles and hydrogen vehicles in rate group 1 and rate group 2. To obtain discount or, in some cases, an exemption there must be a valid AutoPass agreement connected to the vehicle. Zero-emission vehicles in rate group 1 will be charged toll rates that corresponds to 50% of ordinary rates after the discount is added. There will be no toll charge for passings with zero-emission vehicles in rate group 2 for the time being.

For the toll station on Spissøy, zero-emission vehicles in rate group 1 with a valid agreement and tag get a 50 percent discount on the ordinary toll rate after the AutoPASS discount. Zero-emission vehicles in rate group 2 with a valid agreement and tag receive a 100 percent discount.
On ferries, zero-emission vehicles pay a toll charge that is 50 per cent of the price in the rate group (AP1-AP9) to which the vehicle is measured

The collection start up when the collection for the Trekantsambandet was ended, May 2, 2013. The collection period will be 15 years.

Tolls are collected with AutoPASS in a two-way fully automatic toll station located on Spissøy in Bømlo municipality, close to the municipal border to Stord. There is also toll collection on the ferry connection Langevåg-Buavåg.

The Bømlo package includes upgrading and new construction of large parts of the road network in Bømlo municipality to modern and traffic-safe roads.
