Bought, sold and change of ownership

This is how toll payment work when buying and selling a car if you do not have an AutoPass agreement.

All vehicles will be invoiced directly to the owner in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Register until an AutoPass agreement is established. With an agreement, the passages will be invoiced directly to the contract holder as long as this is valid.

Have you bought a new car?

You will receive an invoice from Ferde until you create an AutoPass agreement. After you create an agreement, you will then receive an invoice directly from the toll company/tag issuer you have an agreement with.

Have you sold your car?

Until the change of ownership is registered in the Motor Vehicle Register, you are responsible for the passages made with your car. If you do not have an AutoPass agreement on the car, the new owner will automatically be charged for passages from the date the change of ownership is registered in the Motor Vehicle Register.

Do you have an agreement on the vehicle, but you still received an invoice from Ferde?
